The Competitions we organize focus on different aspects of the operations of the practice enterprise and its departments. They are organized to support trainers and trainees of the Worldwide Practice Enterprise Network. The competitions help to test and evaluate different skill sets and competencies which trainees may find especially important for their entry into the real business world such entrepreneurship, public speaking, teamwork and leadership skills. The examples of some of our competitions are: sales pitch competitions, business plan or marketing competitions and many others. Please find more information about the respective formats below.

Sales Pitch Competition

What is it?

The sales pitch competition allows trainees to test their presentation skills and their ability to persuade someone about the quality and necessity of the given product or service. The sales pitch is a short and concise presentation that attempts to creatively persuade the customer to purchase a certain product or service offered. The feedback of the jury can help trainees to improve their presentation, sales techniques and may help them to develop further in their academic path. A shorter version of the Sales Pitch is an “Elevator Pitch” which lasts about 60 – 90 seconds in which trainees should present their sales pitch.

  • A value proposition
  • Persuasive and clear rhetoric
  • Value-added quality of product or service
  • A clear call to action

Business Plan Competition

What is it?

The Business Plan Competition tests the entrepreneurship innovative ideas of the trainees. A business plan is a written document that describes the characteristic of the business and sets business goals and how it aims to achieve them. 

What should it include?

  • Executive summary with mission statement
  • Analysis of market opportunities
  • Competitive analysis
  • Business profile & strategy
  • Key operation and financial purposes

Marketing Plan Competition

What is it?

The Marketing Plan Competition evaluates how trainees put together a well-developed and designed marketing plan. A marketing plan is  a document that outlines the marketing and advertising goals of an enterprise. The marketing plan also includes specific strategies how to achieve these and generate leads and how to reach the desired target audience.

What should it include?

  • Market research – current marketing position
  • Business target market and needs
  • Competitive analysis
  • Marketing strategy and advertising goals
  • Marketing budget
