The Social Media Events are interactive and engaging events created for trainees of the Worldwide Practice Enterprise Network. The events are designed for trainees to test their creative design skills and their knowledge of the different social media channels – including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube or LinkedIn. The requirements have to be closely followed as these provide the designated time frame in which the posts or stories are being evaluated, what kind of hashtags are to be used and which entities and stakeholders should be tagged. The assessment criteria usually include the creativity and quality of the design and post itself, the number of likes and amount of shares. Social Media Competition

What is it?

The Social Media Competition provides an interesting and interactive opportunity for trainees to test and improve their digital marketing skills. From setting up a social media profile to creating a corporate design to running campaigns, working with Social Media has become a key factor in professional Marketing Departments.

The Social Media Competitions usually focus on a specific topic and task, (e.g. video or photo competition or setting up a new Practice Enterprise social media page) and test digital competences, creativity and design skills, all with regard to entrepreneurship training. These competitions also provide specific requirements and judges will evaluate and rate all contributions. Winners are informed via our PEN Social Media and on this website.

What should it include?

  • Creative designs & posts
  • Application of key social media techniques (hashtags, tags, handles, etc.)
  • Corporate Design & Brand Awareness
  • Interactions with followers & reactions to other posts

Who can participate?

Social Media Highlight Event

What is it?

The PEN Social Media Highlight Events are activities focusing on current topics and are designed to raise awareness about important subjects and to “highlight” these in the Worldwide Practice Enterprise Network. The themes may vary from appreciation of trainers, experience of work in the Practice Enterprise to celebrating diversity. The Social Media Highlight Events may include rewards but will not be evaluated according to a specific framework which differentiates it the Highlight Events from the Competitions.
